Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and promote our organization's initiatives.

  • Create engaging content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media, website content, and marketing materials.

  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to craft accurate and compelling messages targeted at different audiences, such as stakeholders, customers, employees, and the media.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure consistency in messaging across different departments.

  • Manage and maintain our organization's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement with followers.

  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive communication and respond to media inquiries.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as conferences, webinars, and community outreach programs, to facilitate effective communication and engagement with stakeholders.

  • Edit and proofread communication materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal communication platforms, such as intranet portals, employee newsletters, and memos, to facilitate transparent and effective internal communication.

  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts through metrics and feedback, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and email marketing platforms.

  • Familiarity with media relations and experience in managing press releases and media inquiries

  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices for effective online communication.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of communication efforts.
